- The first thing you do is go to P in the index.
- Find the word pregnancy and then underneath that read down the page till you find the word twin.
- Then underneath that you’ll see that there’s different choices based on the number of placentas and amniotic sacs.
- Then go to O in the tabular and Find code 030.00.
- For the first trimester it’s code 030.001
- If it’s the second trimester it’s 030.002
